Diana worked as a school bus driver for 28 years for the South Glens Falls School District in N.Y. and also for the Onslow County Public Schools in N.C. Diana loved riding the motorcycle with her best friend and husband Jim, going to the beach and sitting in the sun with her feet in the sand, and spending time with family and friends during get togethers and holidays. Most of all she enjoyed every moment she could spend with her grandchildren who called her “Button”. Diana was predeceased by her grandparents; George and Margaret Valentine, and Alva and Margaret Freeman. Survivors include her parents Roger and Laura Valentine of Blountstown, Florida, her husband James of Jacksonville N.C, her daughter Joelle Diamond and her husband Kyle of Hudson Falls N.Y., her son Benjamin Stanton and his wife Amie of Pittsburgh PA., her stepdaughter Kayleigh Green and her husband Austin of Holly Ridge, NC, her four grandchildren; Griffin Diamond, Raegan Diamond, Evelyn Diamond, and Austin James “AJ” Green, her sister Donna Schmidt and her husband Carl, her brother Don Valentine and his wife Mary, her twin brother Danny Valentine and his wife Karen, her sister Darlene Martino and her husband Lou, the extended Simione family, and several nieces and nephews. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Onslow County Home Health and Hospice in Jacksonville N.C
