Mr. Edward Betts was My 9th grade Teacher at Pine Forest High in Fayetteville, NC . He was My Business and Marketing Teacher. One of The only teachers I liked during my Freshmen Year of HS. Because He was kind, honest, sincere, loyal to his students and cared about What we were learning in his class. To be frank everything I was taught in his class I used in my candy and book selling business Today. Thank you for everything you taught me and I still use it every day. RIP To my favorite teacher Mr. Edward Betts I salute you Sir.

I was reading about how people influence your life. As I was thinking back, I remembered Mr. Ed Betts. I was a part of DECA in Clarksdale MS back in the 90's. He was always so great and empowering. It caused me to search for him. I saw his picture and recognized that face. He drove me to be successful then and is a part of my success now. I was saddened to see he has left us and my prayers go out to his family. God bless you Mr. Betts. I will see you again and I will make sure you know what you meant to me.

Coming out of retirement and back to teaching and DECA. Will remember Ed this year and always. Wish l had seen you one last time. Wayne

    Yolanda CHASE says:
To the Betts family, I am sorry for you lose. Mr. Betts was the best teacher I ever had at Easton Senior High School. He shaped my life in a way that I could never repay. DECA was the club that he advised and the class he taught. May you find peace in knowing that he is resting in the arms of Christ.
