Edward Julius Antonio, 93, passed away March 24, 2018. He was born on June 7, 1924 to Julius Nmn Antonio and Catherine (Janislowski) Antonio. He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy Antonio, his parents, a brother and a sister.
He is survived by three sons, Alan, Gary and David Antonio, all of Florida; 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He served with honor and distinction in WWII receiving four Bronze Service Stars in several theaters including England, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He fought in the Ardennes Offensive (“Operation Mist”) also known as the Battle of the Bulge.
He was very active in the Habitat for Humanity for many years.
Also, he was involved with the American Legion and Veteran of Foreign Wars, American Legion Boy Scouts and held the position as Assistant Manager of the Cub Scouts.
He worked as a building contractor building homes throughout his life.
He will be inurned at the National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
