ELIZABETH JORDAN CAIN
On April 4, 2017, Pastor Elizabeth Jordan Cain left this world to join her Lord in heaven.

After 44 years of marriage, she is survived by her husband Tommy Harold Cain Sr.; daughter Amy Cain Hester and DJ Hester; along with her son Tommy Harold Cain Jr.

During her 59 years, Elizabeth not only experienced the joy that her grandchildren brought throughout the time she and Tommy Sr. spent with Brittany, Makenzie, Austin, Courtney, and Caden, but she also got to hold three wonderful great-grandchildren, Waylon, Jasmine, and Jonathan.

These may be the years closest to us all that we are remembering in somber, but before then, Elizabeth started in this world as a little girl with skinned knees.

The ones to remember these days’ best are her mother, Lois J. Long; sisters, Jeanette (married to Randy Miller) and Roberta (married to Steve Nelson); and her lifelong friend, Cindy Turner.

Though we all miss her presence in the home, community, and the Church, we have peace knowing she watches over us from above.

Services will be held at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Winnabow, NC, Saturday April 8 at 3 p.m.

Tommy, I temember meeting your mama when she brought you to Bolivia School to meet your 4th grade teacher. You were not too thrilled to be there! But that began one of my best and most memorable years ever. I am so very sorry for your loss. I love you and am praying for you and your family.

    Pastor Charles A. Drew says:
What an honor it has been to be Sister Cain's pastor. She was a joy and great inspiration to always be around. I would love to have 25 more ladies in our church just like her. She was always eager to work for the Lord, in many different ways. We feel such a great loss at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, since her passing. Our prayers are for the entire family, we love you, and will always hold a special place in our hearts, for your loved one. We are very sad, but also rejoicing that she is where she has worked for all these years, in the presence of our LORD ! Thank God, there is still power in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. God Bless in Jesus Name. Pastor Charles A. Drew; Lighthouse Pentecostal Church Bolivia, NC
