    Sandy Givens says:
My many memories of Helen include many hours of working on church projects (those crazy rummage sales!) and ringing in the bell choir. She was always an inspiration to me. She once told me that in spite of sad things in her life she had never been unhappy. I still contemplate that thought and try to live up to it.
