Memorial Gifts & Donations

Johnny James Richards, 59, of Leland NC passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Richards, daughter, Jennifer Richards-Patterson, grandson, Dylan Patterson, and brothers, Michael and Phillip Richards.

John was a hard working man who always did more for others than for himself. He loved gardening, planting flowers, and anything outdoors, was a fan of NASCAR, and enjoyed classic country and gospel music. He was tough yet gentle and had a heart of pure gold.

His grandson, Dylan, was his pride and joy. Their bond was unbreakable, their love, never ending.
He was the best daddy ever. We were like “peas and carrots.”

Johnny will be missed by many but by his family especially. We love you and you will be in our hearts forever.

The family will receive friends at a visitation to be held Wednesday from 7:00 – 8:00 PM, at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Leland Chapel.
