Memorial Gifts & Donations

Judith Miriam Wallace, 65, of Wilmington, NC, passed away July 24, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Judith was born July 15, 1951 to James & Winifred Redden Kinsella, in Brooklyn, NY.

Judy is survived by her loving husband Doug Wallace of Wilmington, son Doug Wallace of Wilmington, daughter Erin Wallace Clary of Southport, brother James Kinsella & wife Nancy of St. Clair Shores, MI, grandchildren Andrew, Phillip, Quinn, Cameron & Nolan. Judy is preceded in death by her parents James & Winifred Kinsella.

Judy was an extremely caring and compassionate person. She lovingly put the needs of others before her own. She had the patience of a saint, always content regardless of the situation. She embodied gratitude for everything in her life. Every day, she would tell us how fortunate she was. It was the simple things that brought so much joy to Judy. She was often found feeding the ducks on the Lake at Carolina Beach, nurturing and caring for her plants, or endlessly sitting with a book or her Kindle in her hand.

Judy was also beautifully creative. She turned her hobby of creating unique stained glass works, into a passionate career. She absolutely loved selling and sharing her works of art. Judy always felt so inspired when she was connected to her creative side.

Her strength in life has truly been an inspiration to all of us.

    KJ says:
I am so sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort described in 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 provide comfort for your family. Losing a loved one in death is never easy, but the Bible reassures us in Isaiah 25:8 that soon death will be no more. What a wonderful time that will be for all of us.
