Alfred Bleiweis, age 91 a resident at The Champions at Porters Neck passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter.

He was a proud veteran of WW II and was a retired Nuclear Engineer.

Alfred is survived by his wife, Evelyn Bleiweis and three children, Neil, Lew, and Lori and his grandchildren.

    I have just learned of Al's passing and I am deeply sorry for the loss. I worked with Al during the 1980s and he was my mentor and was like a father to me. I will miss him terribly as he was a great and honorable man.
