Audrey M. Woodall, 101, passed away the evening of February 9, 2019.

She was born in Monroe, NC on April 11, 1917. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ellis and Addie Moser; four sisters, Genie, Ruby, Jenette and Iris; two brothers, Lawrence and Robert, her first husband, Clyde Connell and her second husband, Bruce Woodall.

She leaves behind a son, Clyde Richard Connell; two grandsons, Clyde Richard Connell II and Ronny; three great grandchildren, Megan, Kristin and Cory; and two great great grandsons.

Audrey loved to travel with two of her trips to Spain and Mexico.

She spent 2 years in Anchorage Alaska with her late husband Bruce Woodall who was an Army Master Sargent serving his last tour of duty. While in Anchorage, Audrey worked for Social Services for two years. Then, she returned to Wilmington and worked for Cooperative Bank for 28 years as an Executive Secretary and Treasurer.

Audrey loved her rose and azalea gardens.

A funeral service will be held at the Wilmington Chapel on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM with a graveside service immediately following at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Wilmington NC.
