Beverly Costin Register, age 66 of Rocky Point, NC passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.

Beverly was born October 12, 1955 in Wilmington, NC. She grew up in Wilmington and was very involved in brownies and became a troop leader in Girl Scouts as well as volunteering with handicapped children and working at the hospital as a candy striper. Beverly graduated from Hoggard High School in 1973 as an honor society graduate and went on to attend and graduate from Southeastern Academy in Kissimmee, Florida for flight attendant training. She worked at J M Fields and Woolco Stores in retail sales for a period of time and later worked in Health Care as an Administrative Assistant. Beverly was a true believer and worshipped with the body of believers at Cornerstone Baptist Church Northchase until her health began failing over the past several years.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Roderick S. Register; her son and daughter in-law, Ben and Samantha Register; grandson, Bradley Register; her mother Barbara “Bozy” Costin; two brothers, B.C. Costin, Jr. and wife Anita, and Matthew Costin and partner, Tracie Ange. One sister, Melinda Smith and husband Devin; many beloved nieces and nephews and extended family members, and her special shelter rescue dog, “Buddy”.

Remembered is her father Beverly Claud “BC” Costin who passed away May 12, 2016 and her nephew Timothy Costin who passed away January 3, 2015.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held Wednesday December 1, 2021 at 7pm with visitation one hour prior, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 2730 NorthChase Pkwy, Wilmington, NC 28405 led by Pastor Daniel Gillespie.
