Donald Gordon Morse, 60, of Wilmington, N.C., formerly of
West Franklin, Pa. passed away Tuesday July 15, 2008 at
his home.

Don was born August 24, 1947, in Sayre, Pa., the son of the
late Gordon and Daisy (Rockwell) Morse.

He graduated from the Towanda High School in 1967. Don was employed at Rolling Acres prior to moving to North Carolina.

Dons joy in life was his family and friends,
especially his daughter and grandchildren and he enjoyed
spending time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and snow-
mobiling.

He is survived by his daughter Diana Spring of Tacoma
Washington, grandchildren Rosalyn Spring, Damon Spring, and Kaia Spring; brothers, Carleton Morse and wife Fran, Batesburg, S.C.,
Raymond Morse and wife Joyce, Macungie, Pa., Lawrence
Morse and wife Darla, Monroeton, Pa., Aunts, Betty Rockwell,
Canton, Pa., Phyllis Rockwell, Canton, Pa., several nieces,
nephews, cousins and close friends.

Don was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at the Monroeton United Methodist Church, Church St., Monroeton, Pa., Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 2pm. with Pastor Daniel Jordan officiating.

Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service.

       Don was a classmate at Towanda High. He was a sometimes part of our "gang" - Phil Schwartz, Ken Carle, Bryan Yoder, Mike Thomas.Even though it's been many years since I have seen Donnie, I always liked him and thought he was a nice guy. He is gone too soon - may he rest in peace.
