Ethel Gore Mays 90 from Riegelwood, Delco, NC passed away December 9, 2020 surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Columbus Co., NC on August 14, 1930, to the late William H. Gore and Myrtie C. Merritt Gore. She was preceded in death her late husband, Carnel Mays (Jacksonville Fla.), brothers Charles W. Gore (Salemburg), Thurman H. Gore, and Archie D. Gore (Wilmington) Mitchell D. Gore (Delco), Larry R. Gore ( Carolina Shores), sisters Sylvia G. Woodcock ( Jacksonville, Fla.) and Annette G. Bordeaux, (Delco), daughter -in- law Karen C. Gore & son -in-law Dennis L. Schott.

She is survived by her son, Hugh Craig Gore of Delco, and by her daughter Catherine W. Schott of Riegelwood, and Stepson John Mays (Judy), Arkansas, and brother Gary K. Gore, (Delco), She had 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, along with dozens of other very special family members and friends.

She was a member of Safe Harbor Baptist Church.

Family will receive guests at her daughters home in Riegelwood. Visitation and viewing will be at Wilmington Funeral Chapel on Friday, December, 11, 2020 form 6pm to 8pm.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am Saturday, December 12, 2020, at the Delco Cemetery in Delco, NC, with pastor Mark Player officiating.
