Glenn was as good a person that I ever was friends with. He was older than me and he would share anything he had with me. He always had a job and he always practiced two a days in the summer getting prepared for Hoggard football season. Later in life we played slow pitch softball with the guys we grew up with from Sunset Park and others of course from Wilmington. We called him Charlie Hustle because of his spirit in the way he played. I loved the man like a brother.
