It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of John K. Feder, Sr., of Wilmington, NC on Saturday, June 19th, at the age of 75 years. John passed at home, surrounded by his loving family. John was born November 25, 1945 in Port Chester, New York to the late William Feder, Sr. and Emma Feder.

John was known for his kindness and love for cars, especially his 1979 CJ. He took pride in his work at Westminister Co. Property Management where he selflessly served as property maintenance manager. Prior to this, John retired from the City of Stamford where he worked for 20 years and the Town of Darien. John volunteered at the Noroton Fire Department where he earned the award of “Rookie of the Year”. He proudly served in the United States Army as a surveyor. He was an avid outdoorsman and animal lover.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Gail, as well as his 3 children, Jay (Sabrina), David, and Amy (Sonny). John will also be fondly remembered by his 5 grandchildren: Sonya, Isabella, Mason, Adrianna, and Karinna, sister-in-law, Lois Feder, as well as numerous relatives and friends. Gail Feder says:
I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss Uncle John very much. He was the last of the Feder Family he was born into, but he is now with Grandpa, Nana, Uncle George, Aunt Betty and my Dad, William Feder. They are all now in heaven together and doing a lot of catching up. Uncle John will no longer be in pain. No more tears. Just nothing but happiness. Someday I know I will be there to see them all again.
