Lee Charles Stout, 60, died August 25, 2020. He was born on October 28, 1959 to Louis John Stout and Anne (Carothers) Stout. He was raised in Nyack, NY. His parents predecease him.

Lee is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Christine (DeGroat) Stout; his son, Ryan Stout; daughters, Allison Stout and Sarah Stout; sisters, Kathy Elmendorf, Joanne Gleason; mother and father-in-law, Linda and Brooke DeGroat; sister-in-law, Stephanie VanDerHeide and family; brother-in-law, Michael DeGroat and family; many nieces and nephews and his special friend and companion, “Abbie”.

Lee had a wonderful sense of humor, always making people laugh. He enjoyed working on computers and cars. He was employed by New York State Bridge Authority and worked on the Bear Mountain Bridge, in particular. He loved his kids very much.

A memorial service will be held later and announced.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to honor two charities that Lee supported. In honor of his memory please consider a donation to Tunnels to Towers Fund and Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.

    My nephew Lee was a beautiful man inside and out. He had a great sense of humor. He was a great kid, Beautiful as toddler, focused as a man.His family was very important to him. I am sure my sister was at the gates to greet him and provide a peaceful transition.Rest in Peace , much love Aunt Roxy
