Lorine H. Flynn, 101, of Wilmington, NC, peacefully went to be with Jesus, her Savior on December 31, 2020. She was born in Richmond, Virginia on October 24, 1919.

She was predeceased in death by her husband of 70 years Harry P. Flynn, her brother and sister, and her infant great grandson Luke Michael Blanton.

Lorine is survived by her 3 children, Roger (Sheila) Flynn of Greensboro, NC, Ed (Cheryl) Flynn of Wilmington, NC and Faye (Tim) Blanton of Fuquay-Varina, NC; grandchildren Jamie (Kim) Flynn of Clayton, NC, Mary Flynn of Denver, NC, Taylor (Melissa) Blanton of Durham, NC, and Elizabeth (Will) Whipple of Holly Springs, NC; great grandchildren Emma Flynn, Aidan Flynn, and Ivy Caroline Whipple.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Flynn were long time members of Temple Baptist Church.

    So sorry to hear about Aunt Rene. She was a loving lady. I have so many wonderful and funny memories of her and Uncle Harry which I will cherish forever. Will they are all up in Heaven except Aunt Frances so I know there is some partying going on and a lot of laughs. U will be truly missed.

    My mother and I both worked with Mrs Flynn at Carter’s pharmacy in the 1970’s. She was a Very nice person. And always such a lady. I still have a white hankerchief she gave me in 1978. Violet Cheshire page and Marie cheshire
