Patricia Mae Smythe, age 76, of Atkinson, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at the Peak Resources Nursing Home.

She was born in Wilmington on July 1, 1944, the daughter of the late Kirby Cannon and Vivian Hall Cannon.

Patricia is survived by her daughter Vickie Jarvis and nieces and nephews.

Together with her parents she was predeceased by her husband Lynn Reynolds Smythe and her brother Kirby Eugene Cannon.

Patricia was a Hairdresser who worked for many years in her Hair Salon. She loved to dance, had a heart of gold and was amazing when it came to crafting various creations. She will be missed by all who knew her.

The family will gather at 12:00pm on Thursday, August 27, 2020, for a graveside service at the Greenlawn Memorial Park, Shipyard and 17th Street, Wilmington, NC.
