Patsy (Pat) Lee Driskill of Bullhead City, AZ, formerly of Longmont, CO, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 in her son’s home in Wilmington, NC, surrounded by family. Pat, the widow of Jack Valentine Driskill, was also preceded in death by her parents, Robert Allen Fillmon and Christene Carlile Fillmon, sister, Glenda DeSantis, and grandson, Michael Eagle.

Pat worked as a meat wrapper, clerk and manager for Safeway grocery stores for over 35 years. She and her late husband owned and operated J.D. Wood products in Longmont, CO, building custom furniture as well as hotel furniture for 15 years. Pat and Jack loved the outdoors and spent many days searching for arrowheads and Indian artifacts around the plains of Colorado, Wyoming and Oklahoma. In their younger years, they enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing and spending time in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Pat treasured spending time with her family, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and visiting her North Carolina family as often as possible. Pat loved being with people, had a contagious smile, a keen sense of humor, and was a very hard worker.

Pat is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Karen Bass Driskill of Wilmington, NC, and daughter, Rhonda Gallegos of Bullhead City, AZ; four grandchildren Ethan (and Alexandra), Joshua and Hannah Driskill of Wilmington, NC, and Angelo Rodelo of Bullhead City, AZ; three great-grandchildren, Skye, Brendan and Konner Rodelo of Bullhead City, AZ; brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Anna Fillmon of Lafayette, CO.

A memorial service is planned for 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church, 5524 Myrtle Grove Road, Wilmington, NC 28409. Visitation will be immediately following the service.
