Robert Italo Luchini, age 74, of Carolina Beach, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at his home in the warm embrace of his family.

He was born in Springfield, MA on February 13, 1946, the son of Italo Luchini and Aurelia Baschizore Luchini.

Robert is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joan and daughters Regina Drozdowski and her husband David of East Long Meadow, MA and Jilliane Carrozza and her husband Matthew of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by his two grandsons Cooper Carrozza and Liam Drozdowski and his brother Richard Luchini of East Long Meadow, MA. Together with his parents he was predeceased by his brother Francis Luchini.

Robert had retired from the United States Postal Service and went on to spend the most rewarding part of his working life working together with his wife Joan as Licensed Massage Therapists.

Robert served his country with honor and distinction as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. during the Vietnam War.
