Roger A. Savidge, age 76, of Leland, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 15, 1943, the son of Vincent Savidge and Angela Gable Savidge.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen Kenny Savidge; daughter Susan Schultz and husband Scott Schultz and grandchildren Michael and Lauren of Suprise, AZ; and daughter Laura Miller and husband Thomas Miller and grandchildren Nicole, Thomas and Bailey of Brick, NJ; and sister Virginia Donahue of Pinehurst, NC.
Roger earned his bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his military service he worked as a Marketing Manager in the Telecommunications Industry and later as a financial advisor.
Roger enjoyed spending time on the beach, playing golf and working in the yard.
