    Alma Sumler says:
I sorry to read about the loss of your dear loved one. The bible gives us hope of seeing them again in the promised resurrection to come according to scriptures such as [John 5:28-29] and [Acts 24:15]. We find further hope in scriptures like [Isaiah 25:8] and [Revelations 21:3-5] which says in part that Jehovah God will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, because God will swallow up death forever. I hope these scriptures will be of some comfort. My Sincere Condolences.

    Stephanie Thompson says:
To the Immediate Family of Cousin Stanley "Skinner" Moore~ The Apostle Paul wrote to the people of the City of Corinth, and to every Reader of the Word, this great and comforting reminder that something better than our current lives, namely being in the presence of God, awaits us after death, when we depart from our bodies. 2 Corinthians 5 is full of comforting scriptures that bring solace during these times, and I pray you will find reassurance in continuously reading and hiding in your heart(s); verse 1, "For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Verse 8 gives us even more comfort, and says, "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." It is never easy losing a loved one. I promise you this, however, that it may not get better by the day, yet it does become more bearable, as God will strengthen you. Cousin Skinner's smile will always be remembered and cherished. Blessings on each of my immediate family of Cousin Skinner. We love you! ~Cousin Stephanie Thompson, and the R. E. & Cousin Ruth Thompson Family (Lynn, Della and Stephanie)
