Virginia “Ginger” Manning Jackle, 77, passed away May 31, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dennis E. Jackle, Wellford L. Price, Jr, her sister, Jeanne M. Bain, parents Charles W. and Ruby Card Manning.

Survivors include children Jeffrey (Cheri) Price and Reid Price, David Jackle, Steve Jackle, Susan (Marty) Weishoff; grandchildren Tanner (Brittany) Price, Aubrey Price, Rachel Schmidlin, Sophia Jackle, Savannah Jackle, Abigail Weishoff, and Ethan Weishoff; and great-grandson Jordan Price.

Ginger was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and active member of her church. She and her husband, Dennis, were members of the First United Methodist Church fellowship and were trained Stephen Ministers which allowed them to help others in times of need. Her faith in God was always present in her day-to-day life, helping her live a joyous life.

Ginger attended Campbell College where she studied finance, and would later go on to have successful careers in the banking and real estate industries.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, June 8th from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. held at Wilmington Funeral Chapel located at 1535 S. 41st Street, Wilmington, N.C. 28403. Tel. (910) 791-9099. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

    Ginger and Dennis invited Kristine and our kids to stay with them at writesville beach.We had a wonderful time.Ginger fixed us eggs benedict first time I I had eggs fixed that way.They were the best ever.We also visited them in Flordia.I will always remember them.They were very special people and everyone that knew them will miss them so much.
