Dear Karen. Nothing can ever prepare you for losing your Mom. I hope you will always remember her unconditional love for you and her tenacity for living. My prayer today is that she is in the house of the Lord and "catching up" with Lorene and Bob. I am sure she is smiling down on you. Much love, Becky Hayes

It was my pleasure to visit “Miss Lois” and take her communion for a number of years. I was always blessed by visiting with her. She was a sweet lady. My condolences to the family.

Lois was a sweet lady and had a special bond with Karen. She will be missed but those fond memories will remain in everyone's hearts. I remember her laugh. It was kinda a shy laugh but it was heartfelt.

Stanley and Graham, it was nice to meet you and speak with you. I send my thoughts and prayers to you both. Sorry we met under these circumstances, but just know Lois was very loved and I enjoyed every single day I got to see her and sit with her or go for "rides" around the place. I am very sorry for the loss of your sister. She will be watching over you both. I asked her to save my spot, so I know I will see her again. Karen took fantastic care of her mom and she always had beauty everywhere.

My deepest heartfelt sympathies to you Karen. I just want you to know that your mom will be missed terribly by me, as well as yourself I know. She always wore that little smile with her beautiful baby blues, sitting there with her hand out when she saw me coming. I looked forward to that every day. She always lightened up my day. I was with her for several hours Thursday. She was sitting up and I went in to sit with her and to wrap a nice warm blanket around her. We had nice hugs and I gave her many kisses that day. Just not the same walking in there and being the first person I see, your mom. I knew it would be a good day there when I saw her smile. I know how much your mom meant to you and I sincerely hope that you cherish all the fantastic memories that you and your mom shared together. I know there are no words specifically that I can say that makes this any easier, but your angel is watching over you and she will be forever until you meet again. I know she said she would save a spot for me, so I look forward to seeing her again. My thoughts and prayers are with you to get through the pain and loss of your mom, but she is always in your heart and memories. I hold my moms close and I know you will do the same as well. Thank you again for allowing me to be a part of your mom's life. She was so special to me. Find peace in knowing how much you meant to your mom.....everything!!!

To my little friend, I will miss you terribly. I already do. I know that you were comfortable and you were at peace. I also know I will never forget bringing my "Miss America" for a ride around the facility so you could wave to everyone with your beautiful hairdo. I truly miss you and I will see you again. I am glad I could get you nice and warm and comfortable before I left Thursday. Rest in peace my beautiful angel and Karen thank you for sharing this wonderful mom of yours!! God Bless.

Karen, I am so sad for your loss and wanted you to know it was my honor to have known Lois. She was always so kind to me ever since I was 6 years old through my entire adulthood with sharing many Christmas dinners at the Hayes table. Her light will now continue to help guide you on how to best live one's life. May the beautiful legacy and wonderful memories that you and Lois created for so many years now help to begin healing your heart. With sincere love and sympathies, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
