My deepest condolences. Richard was a great guy who lived a wonderful life. I worked with him for nearly a decade on the UNCW Basketball press table. I remember when I was dating the woman who would become my wife, Kimmie, he would always ask "When are you gonna marry that girl?" It's a sweet memory I won't forget.

I was so shocked and saddened. Richard was a great man that we knew for many years! I enjoyed playing golf with Richard and I'm so thankful that his son, Evan, and I were able to play golf recently together. Teresa and I loved his sense of humor and enjoyed being his Facebook friend. May God Bless his family with the peace knowing that he and Pat are together again in heaven. Richard, you will be missed!!
