Condolences for Brian Christopher Wren

I am devastated to hear about Brian’s passing. I am so blessed to not only have multiple tattoos by Brian, but also to have an original painting of his on my wall. Brian was a wonderful artist and a wonderful person. We had such terrific conversations during our sessions, and I loved spending time in his various tattoo chairs in Brooklyn. This man had a beautiful heart and mind. My heart and love to his family. I am so very sorry for this painful loss. My heart is broken. I am so lucky to have his work etched on my life forever. Bless Brian, and bless all of you.

I’ll miss you Brian. You are a special person to me and I will keep your memory and spirit close to me always. I will cherish the many hours we spent next to each other at the shop. Annoying you with my “her brian”s. You truly became my closest work friend, and I think that we both shared a strong passion for tattooing. Beyond that you carry a genuineness, and a sincerely few have. I’ll miss that the most about you. Goodbye to my friend, and thank you for spreading your infectious, yet reserved, energy.

Brian was a very good friend throughout my college years. We spent a lot of time together watching movies, going to see bands play and just hanging out. He had a way of making everything seem more fun and exciting. Just leaving the dorm became an adventure with him. Every story told became more interesting. He made everyone he cared about feel special. I personally don't know anyone else in the world like him and he will always hold a special place in my heart.

My wife and I met Brian in college, and he quickly became a valued friend. No one else could ever tell a story like Brian could. "Brian stories" were a thing. My heart breaks for all those who knew him, and particularly for Kerrie and his family. Brian was and is a truly precious soul.

I am so shocked and saddened by the news. I spent a lot of hours with Brian while he did the tattoo sleeve on my arm and he was such a talented and kind hearted person. I will cherish that time with him and his artwork forever. My heart goes out to his wife Kerrie and his family/friends. I am so so sorry for your loss.

Dear Kerrie, We are shocked and so sad at the passing of Brian. One of the last times we spoke with your mother she had a big smile on her face and a sparkle in her eyes. She was talking about how happy she was with you and Brian and how lucky you two were to find each other. We thought the same - we never saw you happier . Though Brian leaves this earth- he will never leave you. He is in your smile , in the times you shared and the memories you created together. Remember and cherish them always. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
