I am very sad to hear of the passing of your sweet Mom. I so very fondly remember when played together at our grandmother’s home on Mears Street. I also remember the wonderful visit with your family when you lived in Athol. That is a visit my husband and I treasure as a special memory. When Bobbie’s Christmas card was returned this past year, l knew her health might have changed, but I did not have any contact information. I know you all cared for her and made her comfortable. My love and best wishes as you plan her home going services. Since I do not live close, please send me a contact address so I can visit should I travel to Wilmington.

Dear Pam, Karla, Terry and Julie, I was saddened to see that your dear Mother, Bobbie, has passed. I have not seen her in many years and sad that we have all lost contact with each other. I remember her well as being a dear sweet lady She was a special person and loved her girls. Each of you were precious to her. I saw that you are going to have a service later. Please let me know. Archie and I would both like to attend. I hope you all are doing well and know that you all will miss her greatly. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Gail Harris Short (910-233-7636)

I have many memories of Bobbie when she lived in Athol.. She was a beautiful lady , with such gentleness, warmth, and caring . When she smiled her eyes would shine so , she would light up the room.. A very special lady, a very special mom . I am so very sorry for your loss. No matter the age or circumstance, its crushing to lose your mom. All of you are in my prayers .

Pam, you and your family are in my prayers. I hope you soon will be able to think of good memories and not the sad ones. There is no one that ever loved you like your mama because she loved you first.❤️

I have a very fond memory of meeting Bobbie. When I was about 6 years old, she and my cousin Dominic her new husband, came to Athol. They stayed at my parents house. I thought she was the most beautiful person I ever met. I thought she must be a movie star. She was so sweet to me. I have always had a special spot in my heart for her.
