So sorry (and shocked) to hear of George's passing. We were classmates at Friends Academy from 1951 to 1955 and stayed in touch on and off for many years thereafter. At Friends George and I were on the track team (He always beat me by a few inches in the 100 yard dash), and we were both into the hobby of amateur radio. He willbe missed.

It is with great sorrow I heard of George's passing. My heart goes out to you Joan, Bruce, Scott and families. We have been friends for a very long time and it hurts that I cannot attend the services to support you. George was a great man, supported by a loving family and it has been evident how much he loved you all. He will never be forgotten. With my heartfelt sympathy and love.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Joan and the Pidot family. I only had the opportunity to meet George a few times over the years on his visits to Massachusetts. I found George to be a kind and gentle man, easy to talk to with a sense of humor. I will truly miss him.

My deep sympathy to Joan and all the Pidot family. I have many fond memories of times we shared at both churches in Wilmington. Bible Study, Stephen Ministry and many other activities for which I cannot find the words to express. George was a pillar of strength and will always be remembered. Much love to Joan.
