Condolences for Keith Jason Brigance

Wilma Clayton posted on 3/26/20

You run across a few genuine and authentic people in this life and when you do , you value that quality in them. Keith always was himself, which is greatest form of a compliment. There was not a "pretend" Keith. His straight up opinion and out of the box thinking mixed with a big smile and a laugh. Keith was his own person and I respected him for that in his life. My thoughts are with the Brigance family whom he loved without reservation, each and every one of them, and loved being a "Brigance" and all of the family activities and traditions. It was great to see him as a dad, and like most parents, looking and searching for the answers to the particular challenges our particular children present us with. I loved stopping by the store as I was going through my days and spend a little time talking with Keith. I always cared about what was going on in his life and was amazed at some of the solutions he came up with for many different things. I will miss Keith very much and I know his family will too. I will miss his friendship and his energy in this world.

Keith.... I dont know where to begin. First and foremost, you were my friend!! I am so glad I thanked you for all you did for me and my family. You were truly my friend and that means so much! We spent countless hours on the phone and our conversations were mainly about Chase. I can not understand WHY you didn't call me!! I never didn't answer, no matter what time. I came whenever you asked for support. My friend just this one time why didn't you call me? I am so heartbroken as I am sure your family and friends are as well. To his family: keith recently shared how awesome and supportive you were in relation to his plan to move. I have no words other than for you to know he loved each one of you. CHASE my friend you dad loved you more than anything in this world! He want nothing more than to find the answers to help you. He spent most of his time researching, searching for anything that would possibly help you. I am so very sorry for your loss and will pray for you every day! I love you!! I'll be here if you ever need me.

Karen, Chase, your son and father meant a great deal to me. He was warm, kind and welcoming, with a tart sharp wit and a quick smile. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. My world was a better place because he was part of it.
