I just learned minutes ago about Larry's passing. We went through grammar school and high school together and played football also. I remember meeting Larry in kindergarten and he invited me to his 5th or 6th birthday party. Larry gave me my first sports book, Touchdown Pass" a few years later. I saw him several months ago and reminded him that he and his Dad took me to my first collegiate football game in 1959 when we were both 9 years old. He said he remembered and continued to explain that it was Cornell at Princeton and that it was a 7 to 7 game until the.closing minutes when Princeton scored on a run around the left end. He always had an unbelievable memory. I'll miss my friend.

I remember late night of Trivial Pursuit when Larry gave me "special" questions that I would know the answer to. Maybe I was 8 or 9. My favorite which he asked at least three times a game was "At what age did Shelli learn how to ride a bike." Larry, you were a great man. Rest in Peace.
