To Polly -Patti's mother, I had the privilege of working with Patti for 11 years as both her co-worker and supervisor in the ID Division with the WSPD. She was an exceptional worker, and always displayed a great attitude. She was also a good friend while we worked together in ID. I will always consider it an honor to have known her. Dear Kerley Family: I was a member of the Pfafftown Jaycees, a Forsyth County NC civic organization, with Patti. She dedicated many long hours to the organization and served in many leadership positions. With her help the chapter accomplished many goals in service to Pfafftown and other areas in Forsyth County. I had the privilege of serving as a Vice President during her tenure as President. Many times she put the needs of others ahead of her own. She was a very special person and will be greatly missed. I want to extend my deepest sympathies and prayers to your family.

Patti, you were my co-worker and my friend. You will be missed more than you know. We knew you had a strong spirit but we never knew just how strong you were until you fought the fight of your life.Go, be with God for eternal life ever lasting.

Patti now walks on peaceful shores, no more pain and no more suffering. Patti meant and still means so much to so many. She was loving, deciated and an incredible gift to all who knew her. We just didn't know how much we would miss her. Sis, we will always love you.

Riding my bike past the house a few times, I got to stop and visit for a few moments each time. Patti, I will miss you terribly. I didn't get to see you that often because of my job on the road. I thought of you so much though. Sail on girl, SAIL ON!

She was a great neighbor and a good friend. One thing that Patti loved was her gardening - she told Karen it was her way of relaxing. One of the things that will always remind us of Patti will be when we look at her garden. She will be missed.

I will always remember the good times we had as Parrottheads in Carolina Beach and especially when we went to Parrottstock in Myrtle Beach. Patti was a special and talented person and we shared a love for the ocean and dolphins and Jimmy Buffet. My thoughts and prayers are with you all- especially her Mom, Polly.

We were all blessed by knowing Patti. We had worked together at the WSPD. She was a diligent, dedicated employee whose crime scene work contributed so much to solving those crimes. You never forgot that smile or her fun loving ways! We hated to see her leave WS, but she lived her dream - we should all be that lucky!

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Patti's family. Polly, I worked with Patti as a CSI in W-Salem and we were on the same squad for years. Patti was always the "life of the party", even on the job. I have never known anyone to love people like she did. And always bringing food to the office to feed us all. She got such joy from watching us indulge. There will never be another Patti, so giving and so loving. Patti, your courage and bravery is astounding and we all take a bow to you. May you rest in peace, now, and I'll just bet you're sitting at the Lord's table with a special seat reserved for you. I love you, Patti.

I worked with Patti for several years at the WSPD, that is until she went to esperience her dream of living by the beach. I missed her when she left, and I still do. When its said that "Patti was the life of the party,"...well that was certainly the truth. Patti was a life long friend and one I will not soon forget. It was an honor and a privilege to have known her and worked with her.

Dear Kerley Family, I want to extend my deepest regrets to your family in the loss of such an incredible person. Although Patti left us to pursue her dreams of living at the beach, I remember her often and recall how diligently she worked for us at WSPD. She brightened everyone's day with her lovely smile and warm personality. Thank you for sharing her with us.
