Robin, my sincerest sympathy upon Tim’s passing. He was so friendly, positive and always smiling. He never gave up, always dancing...now with the angels in heaven.

Robin, and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Tim, I remember what a wonderful smile he had and easy exuberance about him. he was the type of person who could definitely make your day better by talking to him. I wish you many happy memories of him: and all the love he surrounded you with as he got to spread his warmth with everyone he met. How blessed you all we to have him in your lives. Love, Hugs and Blessings to you All.

I remember Tim's infectious smile. No matter what mood you might have had when you first walked in the room at UUCW, for any function you were definitely put in a great mood after seeing Tim;s smile and talking to him for a few minutes. The rest of your day was uplifted. He will be surely missed by everyone who knew him. May the light of this Candle light his way peacefully to and to be free truly free with love all around him.

To me Tim was the epitome of what it means to be a gracious, caring human being. Tim was a role model for us all. You could not meet a more generous giving person. I will miss his wonderful smile. What an inspiration. Robin, I am so sorry for your loss.

I have known Mr.Gugan for three years. I saw him every Wednesday morning at the Wilmington Health infusion department. I was his nurse and he NEVER had a bad day. He was always cheerful no matter what his circumstances were or the pain he may have been in. I loved talking with him and hearing about his life and boy did he love Robin. He was an example for me on how to cherish your spouse. He is missed by all of us in the infusion department and one of our greatest memories is last Christmas he came with the Barber Shop Quartet and sang Christmas carols for all the patients. We will miss you Mr Gugan

The world will not be the same without Tim. Richard and I met him and Robin through dances at the Senior Center. They welcomed us into our new Wilmington home and always saved a seat at the 'Over 50' and Cotillion Club dances. Thank you, Tim, thank you Robin. We love you!

Tim was always such an inspiration with his optimism. Rich was on the same hospital floor and went in to say hello when we realized he was only 2 rooms away. Rich mentioned what a wonderful disposition he had even though he was not feeling well. Sounded like they both enjoyed spending a little time together. He was a wonderful man and has a wonderful wife. Wishing Robin some peace and love with all the memories they made together.

Dear Robin and Family, Although I didn’t know Tim well, I have only the fondest memories of him from UUFW (now UUCW). His friendliness, ready smile, and kind heart always brought sunshine to a room. I enjoyed his singing and appreciated his tireless dedication to the church. He will surely be missed. Sending healing energy and hugs your way.

Tony and I are so very sorry for the loss of dear Tim and send our condolences, prayers, and hugs to Robin and family. Tim and Robin were among the very first people we met when we started attending services at UUCWNC nearly three years ago. They made us feel so welcome and invited us to go dancing with them. At that time we were busy unpacking boxes and just never got around to it, but we wish we had. Tim was a bright light in our congregation. We always looked for his friendly face, wide smile, warm handshake, and upbeat words. We will deeply miss him.

I knew Tim during his last several years. In spite of his own declining health, I noticed he always focused on others, offering compassion and cheerful encouragement during hard times. What a model of courage and kindness he was! I'm so grateful to know him and Robin.

Tim was always so kind to me and my family. He always asked about us with genuine interest and love. One of my favorite memories is watching Robin and Tim dance at the UU during one of our Talent services. He was absolutely talented! The choir will greatly miss his voice and energy. Much love to your family.

Robin, Bob and I extend our condolences. Tim was just a good guy! We got to know him from choir and from the Welcome Desk. One day after a service, we were walking around the building and Tim stopped us and asked us to pick up food for MHC. We had never done that before but we said "YES!" because Tim asked. We could never say "no" to Tim! Loved his smile and his positive attitude. You couldn't help but love him. He will be missed on every level.

His smile would light up a room full of sour pusses! I don't think I was ever with Tim when there wasn't a smile welcoming me. That smile told the story of his essence...kind, thoughtful, caring and loving life. I wish we had his spirit.
