I send sincere condolences to my Palank cousins and all of Uncle Joe's family. As a child, I remember visiting with Uncle Joe who lived then on Knickerbocker Road in the Sleepy Hollow NY area famous for scary tales. Uncle Joe had gentle fun scaring his young nieces and nephews with the Headless Horseman story. He was also one of the smartest people I've ever met.

The adventurous cousins fought to get in Uncle Joe's car. I am sure that wherever he is, he got there lickety split. Oh, and that smile....
