Mr. Bill was such a giving person who had the sweetest smile.I will always remember when Natlaie was young he would give her a dollar, ice cream, or more...and if Amee was present, he would include her. He always made children feel included and special. He continued his tradition with Finley. His face would light up with a smile when his family was around. Mrs. Cheryl, his love for you was evident, and his love for his family was an example for all. A true servant to his community, leaving a legacy for his sons. May the Lord bless you with strength and comfort. Our prayers are with the Miller Family.

Our prayers are covering you and your family with comfort, peace and love from our Lord and Savior. What a precious memory I will always have of seeing the two of you riding together on your red golf cart. It always made me smile! I can't help but think of the song by Patsy Cline "Stand By Your Man." What a Godly marriage and example the two of you were! We love you!

Mr Bill was a true gentleman in every aspect. He made everyone feel appreciated and respected. I still remember meeting him soon after I transferred into Brunswick County as an Adult PPO. He openly welcomed me, offering his assistance if I needed, and a friendship was quickly formed. I will always treasure his friendship and memory. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with all the family during this most difficult time.

Mr. Bill was one of a kind. He was such a nice, giving and caring man. He always made our day brighter just by his smile and his kind hello. He would be ready with any drink or ice cream that a person might need if he thought you needed something. He was a wonderful neighbor and we have been so blessed to live across the street from him. Rest in Peace Mr. Bill-- we will miss you, but know Heaven has gained a special Angel!!!

Mr. Bill loved and genuinely cared for so many people. I was blessed to call him my co-worker as well as my friend. He was one of the few people in this world that possessed the ability to make your day better by simply saying "Good Morning". Love and prayers for Mrs. Cheryl and his family.

Bill and I were on the same Maintenance crew with CP&L in mid 80s. Great guy and great co-worker. Three things I will always remember about Bill, best rope weaver and knot tier I ever met, kept us young guys on the crew on the edge of our seats with his stories of weekend exploits with the Sheriff's department, and about twice a month would bring in the best pineapple upside down cake we tasted. Rest in peace Bill.

Bill and Cheryl have been our very dearest neighbors for the past 15 years. They’ve loved us like family, rescued us whenever we needed, helped repair anything broken-but most of all, loved us unconditionally. They have lived out their faith in serving others. And Mr. Bill was my grandson’s most favorite person in the world. We love you So So much and will miss you every single day!
