We were so sorry to see the news about Dick. We met him at a local church in Longmont, Colorado. He was always positive, seeking out ways to help others, and just a joy to know. I recall his ordination service and how long it was! Debbie & Ryan, you are in our hearts this week.

Debbie dear and Ryan...our hearts ache to have heard the news of Dick's passing. We treasure our wonderful memories. Not only was Dick our pastor, but dear friend. You were "family" joining together with us for many holiday events and special celebrations. Our son, Paul once said that his favorite preacher of all time was Dick Miller...and when our daughter Anne married Mike, Dick performed the ceremony. We loved attending many of Dick's CS Lewis classes and hearing about Dick and Ryan's trips to Oxford. Dick was an amazing teacher. There were also fun times. Our husbands enjoyed their yearly "guys nights out" to CO Avs Hockey and Rockies games. Dick always remembered to drop by our home with favorite Peeps candy in hand. You two were with us in the good and difficult times in life. We could count on you....so much love. Dick will be missed, but never forgotten. We have the assurance we will meet again. We love you, Debbie and Ryan. Dick and Carol

Debbie and Ryan, May the Lord fill your hearts with peace and joyful memories. I chuckle when I think of him bringing paperwork late at night and I was actually up and heard him. He will be missed.

Dear Debbie, Ryan and Patricia, Our whole family has been so blessed by the Lord and one of those many blessings happened back in 1981 when we first met Dick and Debbie Miller. Dick went on to become our Associate Pastor at our church in Longmont, Colorado and later became our Senior Pastor. God graciously drew us together as family and we have shared many wonderful memories over the years; way too many to elaborate on. However, please indulge me and let me mention just a few: Ryan, birthdays, holidays, trips together to W.W., soft shell crabs, Ice Hockey, Avalanche, Nurse Training and many many more. One very special blessing was when we were talking about God Parents with our children and both Michelle and Donnie both said, “We want Dick and Debbie!” And Dick and Debbie agreed! Michelle and Donnie were so happy and still are! Dick we all will sorely miss you, but know we will see you again in Paradise and what a wonderful reunion that will be! Debbie, Ryan and Patricia we pray God our Father will wrap His wonderful loving arms around you and give you His comfort and perfect peace. God Bless you all! Love in Christ Jesus, Jay, Pat, Michelle and Donnie

I remember Dick as a man who passionately loved the Lord and proclaimed the Good News of Jesus life, death and resurrection in the Pulpit, in the classroom, among his family, friends, neighbors and even with strangers. Dick inspired me in many ways as he served the Lord and His people near and far.

I was so blessed to have Dick as a brother. Both Dick and I were so fortunate to be raised in a loving and christian home. He was a great brother and I will always have fond memories of him and I will very forget the fun we had together growing up together. Dick I will miss you but one day I will see you again. Love you so very much.

Dick or Dickie as we knew him growing up was not only a dear friend but he was a youth director and a cousin he married my first cousin Debbie Millis. I carry many wonderful memories of time spent with Dickie and his sister Patricia and their parents at church and in their home. One of those memories was almost being thrown from dickies car as we turned a corner to go to their house. I did not bin for the quick hands of my sister and Patricia I would’ve been roadkill that day. Dickie was a great friend and a wonderful Christian example to all the young men growing up in our church he will be greatly missed.

I was your kid sister’s best friend. I spent as much time at your house as I did at my own! Lots of wonderful memories. You may be Rev Dick to a lot of people but you will alway be Dickie to me. Rest In Peace my friend your work on earth is done.
