I remember how you and Mark would extend a vacation following SHRM conferences and continue the fun!

Mark was one of my first friends after moving to Wilmington. Even back then, before Kim had moved to Wilmington, he glowed speaking about her. Then she moved to Wilmington and I got to meet and befriend her and I saw that glow intensify in her presence. I love you both and I'm so sorry for this immense loss. We will continue talking about him and spreading "Markness" like confetti wherever we go

I am thinking of you all as you celebrate Mark’s life today. A friend and I met Mark while boogie boarding at Wrightsville Beach. We hit it off immediately, came onto the beach with him to meet Kim, and then proceeded to spend the rest of the day having fun with the two of them. This led to years full of many fun memories with Mark and Kim. He will be so missed by so many. We are thinking of you all and are sending prayers for comfort and healing.

I never really got to know Mark, but I can always remember his infectious smile and love for what ever he was doing. Prayers to Kim and his family may their pain be eased by the wonderful memories they shared.

All of us at CFCC Community Enrichment are so profoundly sad to hear of Mark's passing. He was a wonderful instructor, and left a lasting legacy in the community through his passion for craft brewing and his teaching of our craft brewing classes at CFCC. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Kim and the rest of his family. We wish you comfort and healing at this very difficult time. He will definitely be missed by our Cape Fear family.
