Y'all know you are like family to Mike and me; we share your grief. That's a handsome photo you used on this page and a nice tribute to him, you all do really make him proud even now. I feel terrible we could not go to his services, I only just now read this tonight and didn't know before. God bless, Beejay and Mike

Gerald was truly the definition of a Southern Gentleman and I always looked up to him with the utmost respect. He will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him and I shall cherish all of my memories of him and the Branch family in my younger days growing up in the old neighborhood. My deepest condolences to the Branch family with continued thoughts and prayers from all of the Bruestle family.

I knew Gerald all my life. We went to school together and he lived near my folks. He was a very sweet person and he found true love with Gladys...Love to you Gladys and I pray for your family

Thinking of you Mrs. Branch and the rest of the family and wishing you moments of peace and comfort during this difficult time. I will always cherish the good memories that the three of us had over the years including going to our favorite restaurant, Olive Garden, and eating our favorite soup. I am so sorry for your loss and he will be greatly missed. Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs. May God bless you.

Gerald, even before he was my brother n law took me as a young man of about 14 fishing, hunting and frogging. He taught me much that my dad was unable to. At the time he was like a big brother. We were in church service when OUR Pastor was interrupted with a message. he then said" all service member are ordered to their duty station by President John Kennedy" no one knew why at the time but this was this was the Cuban Missile Crisis. Gerald and many others immediately got up and left. Gerald a Christian, and American Patriot! NEVER FORGET
