May God bless and be with you and your family during the loss of Lee. I never had the pleasure of meeting him face to face, but as a Sweeney operator we often talked on the phone during his check-ins. He will be dearly missed as a member of our work family. As the days and weeks go by I will be praying for your strength and comfort in the Lord. Know that you're never alone as long as you have the support of your family and friends.

Lee's passing is not the end, but the beginning of a new life in the Lord's Kingdom. He has only gone on before you and surely you will see him again. The Lee Family is praying for your broken hearts to have peace knowing he is now with his Lord and Savior.

Extending our heartfelt, sincerest sympathy to the family of Lee. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting him, I know his parents, Lee and Nancy, and I have the utmost respect for them. They are wonderful! I was fortunate enough to play for their wedding, and I new Nancy’s father, as her dad was our minister in Morehead City at First UMC. Harold Leatherman was a gentle giant, one of the finest preachers of the Word, and it was a gift to be in his presence. I’m sure that Lee Sr.’s family is just as wonderful, I simply never got to know them. May God hold all of you in the palm of His hands, and may He provide you comfort and courage in the days and weeks ahead. I am so very, very sorry for your loss.
