May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. I remember having many conversations With him on the floor and in the backroom when I was the grocery. Manager. he was very insightful and non judgemental. He was always working and was a team player. He will be missed and loved forever. Jason Northway

So very sorry for your loss, dear North Carolina cousins. He kept you fully in his heart and held you close spiritually. Your close presence was what he wanted and needed. He led the life he chose and what a gift that is. May you find peace in his love, memory and influence on your lives.

Farewell, dear neighbor and friend, One of the first and kindest people I met after moving to Kure Beach in 2011. Please know that your beautiful family will be guarded in love in your absence. Farewell, until we all meet again in Heavenly realms.

Want to send love and prayers to Kathi and Family. Tuck and I first met this wonderful couple on the beach not long after they moved here. Always here if you need me, (perhaps Dave and Tuck will run into one another in Heaven) P.S. Always enjoy the exchange of Christmas cards. Love, Ann

Papa, For the wisdom and insight about life you taught me over the years, I'm forever grateful. I cherish our Wednesday and Thursday nights at Freddies-the laughs, politics, sports, cars, to coordinating how dressed up we wanted to get on Christmas Eve and Easter and everything in-between. From our basement talk in the Pink House to the pool parties with burgers. You led by example and were a great teacher. Rest easy Papa and thank you for everything! Until we meet again...Jason

Dave and I were born 2months apart to two sisters and we were forever linked. Although time and distance separated us we shared our childhood friendship forever. I am saddened by his loss and pray his family can find solace from their fondest memories of Dave. God Bless.

Dearest Cousins, It is heartbreaking to hear of our dear cousin's passing and even more difficult to comprehend his illness and how quickly David left your side. I know you all cherished each other deeply and he wouldn't depart without knowing you would be cared for and surrounded with love. He was a gentle soul who also loved a bit of excitement. As a child I remember his musical talents and as a teenager his college advice. But mostly, I know he thought the world of the women in his life and hope you will feel his watchful eye always.
