We both had such great affection for Mr. Charley as we called him. My favorite memory is taking him to restaurant and hour and half drive out of Wilmington where we had once dined and enjoyed it so much because of the yummy homemade bread and pasta dishes. When we finally got there the place was under new management and the service and food was terrible and we waited forever to get terrible food. Mr. Charley fell asleep on the long drive home and then NEVER let us forget what a miserable "date" it was. We miss him very much and hope his family will find peace in their sweetest memories.

We always enjoyed chatting with Charlie at Snack and Chat and seeing him often whenever we were out walking. We would see him with Lucky and he always enjoyed speaking about sports, taxes with Rod and just "chewing the breeze." We will miss him.

Charlie was such a wonderful man. Bob will especially miss their political discussions when Charlie was outside with Lucky. We loved having him over to watch basketball games! Rest In Peace Charlie!
