Sorry to hear of John's passing. He was a friend and a great example of how good men act. I knew him from the MCL, but never knew he was born in B'klyn.!.

I feel so saddened by Uncle John’s passing. I grew up loving him, as a father like figure. I remember how Grandma Brodie was so proud of him and his Picture as a Marine stands out in my mind. She loved to talk about her son, John, and Aunt Joan, and all the children! With J names! I remember the day he pulled in the driveway of I will alwaysGrandma’s house in a really cool red covirtable with his sweetheart, Joan. I was in the third grade at the time and I looked at Joan and thought how pretty she was in that red convertible I will always love the memory of Uncle John as the loving steady soul I looked up to during my childhood and in my adult life. I and my husband, Pinky, are sending our deepest heartfelt sympathy to Aunt Joan, John Jr., Joanie Judy, Jeannie, Joyce and Jim.and our prayers are with you at this time of loss.
