John and I light a candle for Bobby. He was a shining light each time we were in his company. John truly loved working with him at Bell, plus all the fishing trips to Jordan Lake!! The wonderful trip to Las Vegas and Grand Canyon. Memories we will have forever. Saying prayers for you Bland, Teresa, Charles, and Hannah. Love, John and Connie Monds

Please know I share your grief right now. Bobby was a good and dear friend. We enjoyed fishing and dove hunting, good conversations and visiting. We will see him again in that great reunion I Christ Jesus.

We have so many wonderful memories of our time with Bobby and Bland. Jack loved playing golf with Bobby and the guys, working in Handyman Ministry with him and going on trips with the Southern Bell group. Bobby was such a giving person. He would call and say there someone in need and they would be off again to help. He was a great friend to all and will be dearly missed.

Bobby and I met in 2nd grade at Wrightsboro school. We became instant friends .We went on many fishing trips together and shared a tent at Jordan Lake.We played golf together from when we retired to just recently. I will miss all the good times we had together.I used to miss the school bus on purpose to walk home with Bobby and play with his Goat till dark and walk home about a mile farther down Wrightsboro Road.I was in trouble when I got home but it was easier to get forgiveness than to get permission. We remained friends forever. My heart goes out to Bland and the rest of the family.

Those of us with the telephone family will have a hole in our heart with Bobby’s passing. But what a glorious day he had when GOD’s Angels came for him and lifted him ever so gently taking him home to Heaven. My heart rejoices for him. We all will certainly miss his contagious smile and quick Whit. Bobby and I were raised up in the same church, Wrightsboro Baptist Church. We were both married there and baptized there too. Bobby was a good man, a giving man, and a kind man. Bland, please know we will be praying for you and your family. Hold on to those precious memories. May God bless you always. Love, Marsha Edens Caulder

Oh...what wonderful times we have had with Bobby and Bland over the years.....but oh what a hole we have in our hearts right now. We know he is with his Lord in heaven with no more pain and for that we are thankful. We will never forget all the good times in Biloxi with Bobby and Bland...and him always winning all the money....Lucky Fellow.....but we were so happy and excited for him. Bill and Bobby worked so many years together at BellSouth.....and played golf together after retirement. We love you Bobby and we will miss you so much. We love you Bland, Theresa, Hanna and Alex and we are always here for you anytime day or night. Prayers for all of you!

I know Bobby and Jay are sharing memories of their “Glory Days” at Ma Bell. I know how hard this is and I can’t tell you when it will be easier. Our memories are a precious gift that help us through the numbing grief. My prayers will be with your family.

My fond memories of Bobby was on the many fishing trips we took with the other phone employees. We were a "telephone family". We worked together and fished together. When Bobby and I "spot netted", we always took a coleman stove and fry pan so we could eat them fresh right out of the net!!

I am reminded of the "Good Old Days" when I think of Bobby. That would be, for us, the '50's. He had a 1950 Ford, and while most all our crowd had a car, we ended up in Bobby's at the end of Saturday nights, exchanging the day's events, listening to Gallenton Tenn radio "Randy's Record Shop" show, and guessing how fast he could get it up to, before it started missing. While I was in the class of '53, Bobby and Charlie let me join them at Jarman's Drug Store, 16th & Market, to study for exams. Yes, Bobby was a member of our "Good Old DAy's" group, and he will be missed by many. We will cherish our memories!
