Condolences for Joseph Lawrence Silva

Joe was as authentic as they come when you talk about one being a follower of Christ. I once heard a Catholic apologist once say, you can love humanity but not love human beings. Well, Joe loved both and he was an example for us all. His last few months were a testimony to the value of redemption suffering and truly dying a happy death, in Faith, Hope and Charity. Love you Joe!

Joe was dear friend of ours who always remembered our son Daniel. We are thankful that we were at his side shortly after his passing. We are so joyful for the memories we had together through the years. Joe you were a warm and wonderful person to our family and son Daniel. We are so happy that you were our friend and a friend to many. Joe we love you, and you will surely be missed.

Joe was a wonderful friend, who loved his Lord, his family, his church, and all his many friends. He was a true prayer warrior for the unborn and for a deepening respect for the sanctity of all human life from conception to natural death. Joe will be truly missed, but has now attained his much deserved reward with the good Lord and will be our powerful intercessor in Heaven. It was indeed a blessing and privilege to have Joe as our wonderful friend and he will never be forgotten. May God tremendously love you in Heaven, Joe!

Joe was a warm and devout fixture at daily Mass at St. Mark's and will be missed.... but I know our Blessed Mother met him upon his passing and he is truly now at home. God bless you, Joe! Pray for us!

My heart is breaking to hear of Joe's death. His love of God lifted me for many years. It is because of Joe that I became a substitute teacher. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
